Setayesh Dashti

Setayesh Dashti is a doctoral researcher at the University of Göttingen. She was previously a doctoral student at the University of Oxford and a short-term research fellow in project A04 at the NegLaB. Her research explores the divergences of natural language from formal logic, focusing on their cognitive and diachronic underpinnings. She works particularly on negation and its interaction with quantification, modality, and aspect. Within the NegLaB, she continues her collaboration on Neg-raising in project A04 and serves as a link between the NegLaB and the UNPAG project at the University of Göttingen.
