Description
Are you a doctoral or postdoctoral researcher working on negation? Join us for a two-day conference dedicated to exploring negation from diverse theoretical and empirical perspectives. Engage with peers, share your findings, and contribute to a vibrant exchange of ideas on one of the most intriguing phenomena in language and logic.
The conference has two main goals: to foster exchange among doctoral and postdoctoral researchers working on negation and to investigate negation from a range of theoretical and empirical perspectives. By bringing together young researchers from different disciplines and methodological backgrounds, the event offers a space for feedback, discussion, and collaboration, encouraging new ways of thinking about how negation functions in language and cognition.
We invite contributions offering theoretical and/or empirical insights into the acquisition, processing, and realization of negation from the perspectives of various subdisciplines of linguistics, including syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics, as well as cognitive sciences.
