Postdoctoral Researcher

Francesca Capuano is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Psychology, University of Tübingen.

She studies how people understand linguistic negation in context, with a focus on pragmatic reasoning and the role of conversational alternatives. Her recent work also looks at how large language models handle similar phenomena, connecting insights from psycholinguistics and language technology.
