Dr. Elena Albu

Elena Albu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Tübingen. With a background in linguistics, her work focuses on language comprehension and negation processing, specifically on how negation shapes the interpretation of gradable adjectives, and the nature and properties of negative events.
Her research also investigates the interplay between modal and amodal encodings underlying space-metric associations. She is particularly interested in the nature of the SNARC and SNARC-like effects and the factors that trigger them.
